Samsung has recently introduced two new midrange phones, the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G, which offer consumers lower-cost alternatives to premium devices like Google’s Pixel A series and Apple’s iPhone SE. Both phones come equipped with Samsung’s Knox Vault security system for the first time, focusing on upgrading core elements like design and security.
The Galaxy A55 5G stands out for its ability to capture better photos in low light conditions, thanks to its 50-megapixel main camera, 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, 5-megapixel macro camera, and 32-megapixel front camera. On the other hand, the Galaxy A35 5G features similar camera hardware, with a slightly lower-resolution ultrawide camera and front camera.
Both phones sport a 6.6-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5,000-mAh battery, ensuring a smooth and long-lasting user experience. Additionally, they offer expandable storage and are set to receive four generations of Android and Samsung software updates.
While pricing and availability details have yet to be disclosed, it is expected that they will be in line with last year’s devices. The Galaxy A35 5G will be available in the US, while the Galaxy A55 5G will not be offered in the country.
With the launch of the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G, Samsung seems to be focusing on providing consumers with powerful yet affordable midrange options that prioritize key features such as advanced camera capabilities, secure data protection, and cutting-edge design.
