Iowa women’s basketball standout Caitlin Clark continues to make waves in the basketball world, as she has been selected for Team USA’s training camp roster in Cleveland. The talented guard has already earned three gold medals with USA Basketball junior national teams and is currently the leading scorer in NCAA basketball history with an impressive 3,830 points.
Clark’s success on the court has not gone unnoticed, as she was recently named National Player of the Year by The Athletic. The Hawkeyes also made headlines this year by setting women’s basketball viewership records, thanks in large part to Clark’s stellar performances.
Clark is among nine Olympians who made the training camp roster, which also includes the legendary Diana Taurasi. As the final Olympic roster release is expected in late spring, Clark remains in the pool of candidates for the Olympic team selection committee.
